Welcome to the Leanne Hughes Theatre School. We are Leighton Buzzards' largest independent theatre school, offering classes in ISTD Ballet, Tap, Modern as well as Jazz and Musical Theatre Classes. Adult classes in Ballet, Tap and Modern are also available.
Classes are held Monday to Saturday in our own premises,
comprising of two studios, changing facilities and an on site
shop. Children are welcome from 3 years old. All of our
professional staff are fully CRB (Criminal Record Bureau)
checked.
Since our inception in September 2002, we have achieved a 100%
pass mark in examinations taken. Pupils from the school have
successfully auditioned for, and accepted places at The Royal
Ballet, London Junior Ballet, Laine Theatre Arts, Performers
College, Italia Conti, Bird College and Stella Mann College. In
addition pupils from LH:TS have appeared in professional
productions, including Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in London's West
End, and a professional production of Aladdin alongside stars
from the stage and screen. The school also enjoys continued
success in dance festivals throughout the country.

Pupils may get the opportunity to perform at events, festivals
and take examinations, and also perform
regularly at local events including the Leighton Buzzard May
Fayre, the St Barnabus Church Fayre, and numerous dance
festivals throughout the region. We also hold an annual
Prizegiving show, a choreography competition, and a bi-annual
main show. Over 1000 people came to our last show!
