Welcome to the Leanne Hughes Theatre School
Welcome to the Leanne Hughes Theatre School. We are Leighton Buzzards’ largest independent theatre school, offering classes in ISTD Ballet, Tap, Modern as well as Jazz and Musical Theatre Classes. Adult classes in Ballet, Tap and Modern are also available. Classes are held Monday to Saturday in our own premises, comprising of two studios, changing facilities and an on site shop. Children are welcome from 3 years old. All of our professional staff are fully CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) checked. Since our inception in September 2002, we have achieved a 100% pass mark in examinations taken. Pupils from the school have successfully auditioned for, and accepted places at The Royal Ballet, London Junior Ballet, Laine Theatre Arts, Performers College, Italia Conti, Bird College and Stella Mann College. In addition pupils from LH:TS have appeared in professional productions, including Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in London’s West End, and a professional production of Aladdin alongside...

Want to join us at LHTS? We are Leighton Buzzard’s largest independent theatre school, with over 200 pupils taking weekly classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, National, Drama and Musical Theatre. Students may get the opportunity to perform at events, festivals and take examinations. Students from the school perform regularly at local events including the Leighton Buzzard May Fayre, the St Barnabus Church Fayre, and numerous dance festivals throughout the region.
